Jonathan Kim brings a wealth of experience as a Music Director, Creative Arts Director, and Pastor. His passion for music was sparked early on, when he had the incredible opportunity to perform at Carnegie Hall in New York with his middle school orchestra and play for his church’s youth band. Since then, Jonathan has graced numerous stages across Southern California, from San Diego to Los Angeles, including iconic venues such as the Anaheim Convention Center and The Roxy Theatre. Jonathan’s musical influences span genres, and his commitment to continuous growth as a musician is reflected in both his teaching and his personal development. He is known for his engaging teaching style, encouraging students to explore their creativity and express themselves through music. Since 2010, Jonathan has been inspiring the next generation of musicians as a private instructor and through his work with institutions such as La Habra Music, Clavier Music Academy, Leading Note Studios, and various after-school programs in Los Angeles school districts. His broad experience playing in multiple bands and musical styles enables him to introduce fresh and innovative approaches to learning music.

Jonathan holds a Bachelor's in Music from Biola University and a Master’s in Theology from Talbot School of Theology. His leadership extends to worship ministry, where he regularly leads worship at Hume Lake Christian Camps and serves as a guest worship leader at numerous San Diego churches, including Seacoast Community Church, Grace Church North Park, Redeemer San Diego, and Saddleback San Diego.
